About Isabel O’Hagan
Isabel O’Hagan is an operatic Lyric Soprano originally from the great plains of Des Moines, Iowa. Currently based out of Washington, D.C., Ms. O’Hagan is a student of Rick Christman at The Catholic University of America, where she is pursuing a Master’s in Music.
Her background as a classically trained violinist since the age of 3 has heavily influenced her performance and presence as an up and coming soprano. She has been described as having a “clarity” to her voice according to DC Theatre Arts, and displays dramatic and “comedic talent” (MD Theatre Guide) as she embodies her roles.
Most recently, Ms. O’Hagan has been featured in a televised Oratorio performance, and operatic roles such as “Laurie” in The Tenderland by Copland, “Monica” in The Medium by Menotti, “Adele” in Die Fledermaus by Strauss, “Romilda” in Serse by Handel, and “Pamina” in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart.
She is looking forward to her upcoming run performing the role of “Adina” in L’elisir D’amore by Donizetti. Tickets are live at this link.
